Photo Week: Roller Derby!
Canon 7d, ISO: 12,800 <----believe it!

Motion Thursday. This week features a trip to the local arena for two roller derby bouts. A great scene, great action, I do wish they’d just turn on the lights! See it bigger in the Photo Week Archives.
Photo Week: Signs of Spring
Canon G7

The temperature is rising, the floods are over, the tree buds are popping, the tulips and daffodils are sprouting, lawnmowers (and in our case, chainsaws) are fired up, and the PEEPS are here! The signs of spring are here (and bigger here)
Photo Week: Pat’s Peak
Canon G7. Iso: 100, Shutter and Aperture variable.

This all G7 photo week features a day on the slopes of Pat’s Peak. A great time had by all, any mountain that has a run called “easiest way down” is a friend of mine! Wanna see it bigger?
Photo Week: The Franklin Park Zoo

A zebra foal stands by its mother in the snow at the Franklin Park Zoo. The zebra is cute, but the three-week old tapir is even cuter. Meet Tupelo the Tapir (even sweeter than honey) in The Photo Week
zoo lights!

Motion Thursday. People amble along the paths during Zoo Lights at the Stone Zoo.
zebras

Two zebras hang out in the snow at the Franklin Park Zoo. I guess they can handle snow, they’re colored for it!
casters

Shadow Shot Sunday. One of three guinea fowl casts a shadow on a red barn at Smolak Farm.
gametes

Ruby Tuesday. Gametes hang out on the stamen casting a shadow from some late day sun.
