Photo Week: Lowell’s Boat Shop
Canon G7

I went looking for eagles and instead found Lowell’s Boat Shop, the oldest continuously operating boat shop in the United States! Who knew a place with such history was just up the road, very cool!! I’m looking forward to going back in the spring –next week?- to make a scale model of the historic Banks Dory!!
pooling resources
Canon G7, Iso: 400, Manual (M), 1/2s, f/4.0

Folks wait in line for their turn to climb on, pose and be photographed with the olympic rings in the Village Square of Whistler, B.C.. A wonderful collaboration of efforts, the line works and flows in that the person behind you is expected to take the photo of you with your camera (while not running off with it as we all fear) returning it as they walk up to pose for their photo as the person behind them readies their camera! Nifty!!
snow awning
Canon G7. Auto Iso, Auto Exposure. (1/60s, f/2.8, flash fired)

Not sure what this means about our home insulation, but at least I know what the thunderous crash will be when the awning slides off in the middle of the night! For the time being, free shade! (not that we need any!)
because i can
An iPhone post because I can…. First time in a LONG time that I’ve traveled without a computer!
