Photo Week: 2010 Hockey East Tournament
Canon Mark IIn, 70-200mm zoom, 24-70mm zoom.

This week features a collection from three hockey games making up the hockey east tournament. Congratulations to Boston College for their win, and a special thanks to the mascots for breaking up the action with some good light-hearted fun! See it a little bigger….

If you know me, you know the Olympic experience wouldn’t be complete without proper recognition of the mascots!! Side note: If Quatchi’s name was Mukmuk, i’d have bought the 3 foot tall stuffed likeness. Im sure Continental Airlines is relieved because I’d have demanded to carry him on. Photo memories are the best souvenirs!

Photo Week: NLDS Rockies vs Phillies

Aperture Priority (AV), 1/1000s, f/8.0. The Phanatic is my favorite part of Phillies baseball, but for some of the pregame features and Game 1 and 2 action, check it out in the Photo Week or in the photo galleries at mlb.com!

autographs

Aperture Priority (AV), ISO: 200, 1/500s, f/4. Wally the Green Monster autographs my hat. I’m not generally an autograph seeker, in fact, i think this is my first, but with my affinity for mascots, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a scribble from Wally. All the kids at the 2009 Red Sox Youth Fantasy Camp were just as psyched!
